Who will win TNPL 2023
The Tamil Nadu Premier League returns for its 7th season on 12th June, 2023, following six successful seasons. The TNPL trophy will once again be contested by 8 teams representing 8 different districts in Tamil Nadu.
The last season ended with two winners, CSG and LKK, as the final match ended in a no-result due to rain. Based on the newly assembled squads of all teams, we are backing Chepauk Super Gillies to win the TNPL 2023.
This season’s CSG squad looks stronger than last year’s. Jagadeesan and Yadav will provide power to the CSG batting line-up. Sanjay Yadav was the top run scorer in the TNPL 2022 season, followed by Jagadeesan.
For the upcoming season, we have a completely different bowling unit. This year, Harish Kumar, M Silambarasan, and Rocky Bhasker will lead the bowling department in the CSG. During the last season, Silambarasan picked up 9 wickets and Bhasker picked up 2.

TNPL Betting: MS Dhoni inaugurated the first edition on 16 August 2016. Ravichandran Ashwin, Murali Vijay, Dinesh Karthik, and Lakshmipathy Balaji were among the top players in the first edition. ABOUT TNPL 2023
TNPL 2023, the much-anticipated season of Tamil Nadu Premier League, is about to begin this month. At the SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore, the Lyca Kovai Kings will face the iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in the first match of TNPL 7.
FORMAT OF TNPL 2023
The TNPL 7 will follow the same format as previous seasons. For the ultimate prize, eight teams are competing. In the group stage, each team will play the other 7 teams in a single-robin format. Playoffs will be held for the top four teams.
Similarly to the IPL, the top two teams will face off in Qualifier 1. A winner of this match will automatically qualify for the Finals, while a loser will have to participate in Qualifier 2. 3rd and 4th placed teams will face off in an Eliminator, and the winner will move on to Qualifier 2. On 12th July, the winner of Qualifier 2 will face the winner of Qualifier 1.

PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT FOR
In the past seasons, the TNPL has produced some great performances, and we can expect more fireworks this season based on the bench strength of different franchises. The following players have the potential to have a big impact on the tournament.
N Jagadeesan
Jagadeesan had a quiet season last time around, but given his talent, we can expect him to bounce back this time. The Ranji Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy have been some of his most impressive performances on the domestic circuit in the last season. Chepauk Super Gillies will rely on him as a key player.
Sanjay Yadav
Last season, Sanjay Yadav was the top scorer for Nellai Royal Kings. At a strike rate of 186.77, he scored 452 runs, including 5 half-centuries and a century. Chepauk Super Gillies have picked him up this time.
Sai Sudharsan
Sai Sudharsan is the most expensive buy of the season. A total of 21.6 lacs were paid for him by the Lyca Kovai Kings. With 859 runs at an average of 39.04 in T20s, he has an excellent record.
Abhishek Tanwar
As a wicket-taker, Abhishek Tanwar led the previous season. In nine matches, he took 17 wickets at an average of 14.11. He also bowled well with an economy rate of 7.09 runs per over. This season, he will play for the Salem Spartans.
M Shahrukh Khan
M Shahrukh Khan will play for the Lyca Kovai Kings this season. In addition to scoring 187 runs at a strike rate of 164.03, he also took 11 wickets at a bowling strike rate of 11.90.
